WASHINGTON—Legal, ethical and wise. That is how John Brennan, chief counterterrorism advisor to President Obama characterized drone strikes at a recent speech at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. Debating the Littoral Combat Ship

WASHINGTON—Skeptics of the effectiveness of the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship outnumbered its supporters at an event Monday at the Cato Institute, saying that structural and design issues prevent it from being an effective ship.
