FMS Advanced Information Group’s Sentinel Visualizer is a link analysis and social network analysis program marketed to the intelligence, national security and law enforcement communities. The company says that unlike basic link analysis program used by law enforcement, like i2 Analyst’s Notebook, Sentinel Visualizer incorporates social network analysis that allows the user to measure relationships, the flow of information within a network, and key nodes in the network. The company has had investment from In-Q-Tel, the venture capital firm established by the CIA. The company also says its software has been used by an international non-governmental organization to help expose human rights abuses.
