In 2011, the company announced a new product, called the Social Media Command Center, which applies its text extraction software to social media sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and blogs. The Social Media Command Center is designed to allow users the ability to monitor multiple social media sources and be alerted quickly of sudden changes that might indicate a major social or political event. The company says is can extract content from 75 million social media sources in 32 different languages.
